Background
The story of the build
A 25 m indoor pool at the centre of a new aquatics and fitness building in Ladysmith, completed in October 2023.
The pool is 25 m by 12 m and sits inside an aquatics facility the main contractor was building around it as it went in — a building that also houses a full gym and, in its own section, a mixed-martial-arts gym.
Completed in October 2023 — “an absolutely fantastic little pool to build”, in Russ Curtis’s words.
