The story of the build
The Roman-style hotel pool at Emperors Palace, refinished in turquoise marbelite with new tile and repaired coping — in a resort that never closed.
The D’Oreale pool sits between a tiered fountain and an avenue of cypresses, and the hotel stayed fully open while it was renovated. The work area was cordoned off, guests kept clear, and the noise kept to hours that did not disturb them.
Cracked coping around the pool was replaced, new tile laid, and the interior finished in turquoise marbelite, the colour that runs through every pool and fountain at Emperors Palace.
