Background
The story of the build
A new 25 m competition pool in Bedfordview, built in three months after the old, undersized pool was taken out.
Crawford Italia had a pool, but not the right one: the existing pool was not to size, so it was broken out and a new shell built to the architect’s specification in its place.
The new pool is 25 m by 20 m with 1.5 m of depth at both ends and 1.2 m through the centre. Starting blocks, lane tiling and the full build were done by Curtis Pools in three months, from excavation to the first length.
